"最寄りのバス停を、事前にメールで伺っておいて、そのバス停で下車し、数回尋ねてようやくたどり着いた。坂道を大きな旅行バッグを押して上るのが大変だった。"

"The price to park the car overnight- very expensive. I didn't have a bed side light on my side of the bed - room 601. When I mentioned it to reception on checking out the girl said the light was probably being repaired. Nothing mentioned when I checked in. Also the price of the breakfast how do you jusify the $52 price. Totally overpriced and won't pay that price again, next time I stay. This should be complimentary."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
