"The guy at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. He helped us with the luggage (the rooms are on a 2nd floor with no elevator) provided us a good breakfast from somewhere else (additionally paid, of course), even though it was Ramadan. The entrance to the building does not look good but the rooms are fantastic! The hotel paid for parking. The location is awesome, just by the doors to the old town."

"A lot of noise from the surounding area and no isolation between rooms - you can hear people talking, sneezing, flushing etc as they would be in your room. No elevator."

"Perfect location right beside the fort and the souq. Brand new rooms, nicely furnished. Staff is very helpful, they even helped with bringing suitcases to the second floor and took care of paid parking (which always has space, so no worries about that!). The bed was really comfortable and the TV screen was the biggest I have ever seen in any hotel anywhere in the world."

"Shower curtain was absent, but it seems like this thing is not yet reinvented in most of Oman, so no hard feelings."
