"Pretty much everything was great, Will is a fabulous host and her engagament makes all the difference - preparing homemade breakfasts, giving touristy advices, and just everyday chatting; the place is clean, charming, characterful. Fully recommend."

"The quiet rural location suited us perfectly.Lovely views from the terrace.Within easy reach of Loule where I visited a friend several times.Will was a perfect host.Great breakfasts interesting conversations and very helpful and concerned when we both briefly I'll.Her local knowledge was useful as were her maps and suggestions for driving/walking trips."

"Awesome ambience. The roof top terrace offers an exceptional view and Will, the host, does here job with passion. You notice this not only in the often homemade breakfast, she is always open to questions and is happy to help plan vacation days."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
