"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was very welcoming. The courtyard was pleasant, with a nice view of the sunrise. There is a supermarket, bars and cafés nearby and Pico Areiro is only half an hour away, avoiding the busy roads of Funchal."

"Stayed here for a week and it was just lovely! Very cool, clean and comfortable room. Great location to explore the whole island with free on street parking right outside. Nice little area with a pretty church, felt like a local! Antonio was a very kind host and replied to messages and dealt with any requests right away. Would defo stay again :)"

"We had a wonderful stay here during our trip to Madeira! The area is absolutely stunning — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation itself was spotless and very comfortable, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights is the location: you’ll find some lovely bars nearby where you can enjoy a great poncha (a local must-try!) and charming places to grab a tasty breakfast and good coffee to start your day right. Antonio, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful — always available if you need anything and genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay. It’s located in a small, quiet village where you’ll find great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket just a few steps away. The area is also very well connected to all nearby points of interest, making it easy to explore the surroundings.
