Do Campo is an eco-friendly hotel, perched on a cliff overlooking Madeira’s laurisilva forests and the Atlantic Ocean. It features an elevated salt-water swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers. Guests will enjoy the hotel’s gym, equipped with cardio and fitness machines, or relax at the on-site spa, offering a hot tub and Turkish bath. A reading room with free インターネット接続 and a games room are also available. Bright and airy, rooms at Hotel Do Campo open out on to panoramic balconies. They are all equipped with extra-long beds, a seating area and satellite TV channels. En-suite bathrooms with bathtub are standard. Traditional specialities are served at the restaurant and the bar, using locally grown aromatic herbs. Many eateries and entertaining options can be found in downtown Funchal, a 15-minute drive from Do Campo hotel.

"This hotel is in a great location for exploring Madeira (you do need a rental car). Large clean room with sea views. Excellent breakfast, so many options, large choice of hot food and lots of fresh fruit etc. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"Best thing was the quiet and beautiful location with great views and easy parking. Our room was very large, with a sunny balcony, fridge etc. it was nice to have access to indoor and outdoor pool, and we also used the sauna, but you needed to prebook and it wasn’t as hot as we hoped. Overall we had a lovely stay. We weren’t very impressed by the buffet dinner option, but the breakfast included with the room price was excellent. Would recommend this hotel for sure."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Quiet, clean, comfy, friendly, good breakfast that has everything one could think of. Hikers of the fisherman trail should consider the small detour to reach this outstanding place. We hitched there and the very friendly hosts drove us back the next morning (~2km)."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
