"Breakfast was home baked and presented several yummy options. The breakfast room is very beautiful and well decorated. We stayed there in December so it was very cold, but all the facilities were warm and cozy. The bedroom was warm at our arrival time, and even though it was located in a house with other guests it was quiet. The common rooms such as the old kitchen and living room were warm also, and nicely decorated. The place is exactly as a traditional Monte Alentejano and brought back a lot of childhood memories."
"The water took a long time to warm up and in the morning it only warmed up a bit, so the shower was a bit on the cold side, but other than that everything went well."

"Nós adorámos! Casal com um cãozinho pequeno e foi óptimo poder deixar o cão andar em liberdade sem restrições. A casa giesta tinha todo o conforto e completamente equipada para as nossas necessidades. Simples mas tudo pensado ao detalhe. A parte exterior é maravilhosa, tudo muito bem cuidado. Ainda tivemos a sorte de ser época dos figos e eram maravilhosos 🥰 O staff top, super disponíveis, pessoas humildes e com preocupação em agradar. Ainda pedimos algumas refeições, que são entregues num cestinho na nossa casinha, e estavam deliciosas. Queremos muito voltar 💕"

"Rustic, beautiful farm estate. In nicely restored 100+ year old worker's houses, Surrounded by 2,500 acre olive tree fields. Brought delicious dinner and breakfast to our group, set up on outside table, overlooking the beautiful, rolling fields, under the canopy of an old fig tree. Magical. Super friendly and helpful manager and staff. Our group was on bicycles, but cars would be the same. Can not recommend highly enough. Our favorite place in 8 different nights of our trip."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
