"Great location, just ~100 meters away from the beach. Very nice and helpful people, booked a lovely islands tour in a very good price for us and offered to help us with a number of things. Fascilitated our return to Krabi. There are 4 adorable cats in the property too. The room was a standard Thailand room for that price range, nothing to complain about."

Restaurant waiters are useless, slow, just talking to each other. . Even if you are a guest at hotel they want you to pay for the huts. Hotel guests should get at least a free hour daily. There is no real beach seating for hotel guests to relax.

The food was somewhat repetitive and sometimes bland.

有料のイルカツアーに参加したが、船内で「支払いはキャッシュがいい」と言われ街に船をつけてATMでの出金を促されたり、TAXを上乗せしようとされたりと、不信感のある対応が続いた。ホテルから直接出発できる点は良いものの、提携ツアー会社(社員だと思うが)の態度は残念だった。

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"朝食は満足出来ました。日替りですが味噌スープも有り。アイスコーヒーのテイクアウトも問題無し、ホテル周辺にカフェが無い？ので助かりました。フィリピン人スタッフさん達は親切でフレンドリーな方が多かったと思います。ホテル内のビーチは小さいながら水も砂浜も綺麗、目の前をボートが行き来する雰囲気も素敵でした。市街地からは離れていますが、そこそこのレストランが周辺に3軒程あり、ミニマートが目の前に有り、周りに何も無いようでも不自由さは感じませんでした。 親切、安全重視の日系ダイビングショップのBlueMarineさんがホテル内にあるのでダイビング目的の方にも便利だと思います。私も大変お世話になり大満足のダイビング経験が出来ました。"

ハーバービューのお部屋にしましたが、隣の部屋と1つのドア(開かずの)で繋がっている作りで、隣の人の物音が酷いとかなり音が気になりました。隣の部屋のドアの開け閉めの音で夜中起きる事もしばしば。防音の事はあまり考えられていないように思いましたが、日本スタンダード基準での率直な感想です。

"12:30pmのボートで早めに島に渡りましたが、タオルを貸りることができ、チェックインの時間までプールに入ったりして楽しむことができました。宿泊は水上コテージで、実際には30分ほど早めに部屋の鍵をもらうことができ、とてもゆったりとした時間を過ごさせてもらいました。部屋は掃除が行き届いており、十分な広さで、滞在中海や海の生き物を身近に感じながらリラックスしました。 島なので当然車が走っていないこともあり、騒ぐ人たちもおらず、とても静かで穏やかな時間が流れています。夜のビュッフェと朝食ビュッフェを頂きましたが、フランス領というだけあって美味しかったです。スタッフの皆さんもフレンドリーに接してくださり、総じて良い滞在でした。たまたま水上コテージが取れましたが、人気なので空いていたら是非宿泊されることをお勧めします！"

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

We were waiting an hour and a half to get our room. Check-in is from 16h, but our room wasn't ready until 17h30...

"海が人生の中で最高に綺麗でした。毎日、エイやサメがコテージの前を通過し興奮します。部屋は広く清潔で、一日２回掃除してくれます。シャワーからはお湯がすぐに出てきます、水圧も十分強いです。水道水は口に入れてもお腹を壊しませんでした。水道の近くにはたくさんのミネラルウォーターも置いてくれています。トイレの水圧も強いです。私の子供は、海が見れるお風呂を最高に気に入っており、1日５回以上お風呂に入っていました、最高の景色です。スタッフはみんないつも笑顔です。ホテルに着くとドラムを叩いて歓迎してくれ、ヤシ飲みジュースや記念写真を撮ってくれます。去る時には、みんな手を振って別れを惜しんでくれます。バギーでどこにでも連れてってくれます。レストランがたくさんあり食事も美味しいです。子供の誕生日には、生演奏でハッピーバースデーを歌ってくれ、無料のケーキがいただけました。全てが最高でした。"

ホテルは完璧です。2日間雨が降ったのが残念でしたが、これはホテルに責任はありません。ただ、雨が降った時の海でさえ、他の地域の海と比べても綺麗です。食事代は高いですが、モルディブの環境や世界的なインフレを考えるとしょうがないでしょう。

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.

ややナンディ空港より遠いところ。 朝食がついていたのに、チェックインのときに確認せず、食べずに帰ってきてしまったこと（自分で確認しなかったのも悪かったけど、一言言って欲しかった）

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.
