"Sometimes there was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom i think from the canalization which especially in the night comes on the room. And in the gym why is the Watercooler not cooled, i turned it on the other day is was turned off. Also i would give the guest the choice if they want 2 pieces of new soap a day, you might opt for higher quality soap made in KSA but only replace it every three days, also it be really good if there would be more drinking water available like 2x1.5 liter bottle placed in the fridge instead of 3 small ones because otherwise the visitors don’t have enough water because you should drink 2-3 liters per day and with the water you provide its barley a liter so not enough and dehydration leads to headache which in turn will be associated with the stay so a negative sentiment. And i did not know, can i use tab water to make tea after its boiled or bottled water? foreigners don’t know these details. Something as well higher quality toilet paper, this one is too thin so it rips which is very unpleasant for europeans. All in all only small things which would add up to so much more in a pleasant experience"

"The hotel is at a good location in the Olaya district, a few minutes' walk from the Alinma Bank metro station. It's about a 15-minute walk -- or one metro station -- from the Kingdom Tower. The rooms are spacey and very well insulated from any outside noise. The staff is chilled -- kind of invisible in a good sense, but they are there if you need something. In a nice gesture, Saudi coffee and dates are available in the lobby."

"Gym Timing should be better to suit the business/working customers. For men, the timing is between 9am to 3pm, which should also be available after 7pm. On request, however they opened for me on two days.."

"In the shadow of Kingdom Tower and right on King Fahad Road, the Awfad Hotel was easy to reach and very centrally located for all my meetings. The staff was superb, going out of their way to help with any transport queries, registration, providing a room upgrade, and great service at the large breakfast buffet. A special shout out to Ghader and Hamad for their kind hospitality and helpful support. I'll see you next time!"

"Some noise from neighbouring construction work"

"The location is quite central yet as it is in the middle it is quite far from everything. The way the city is displayed it has some attractions further north and others further south, therefore we needed to take a taxi or metro whenever we wanted to go somewhere (to be honest, the heat doesn't allow you to walk much either). Still, the metro station was really close from the property and the sky tower is within a walking distance too."

"They weren't the most welcoming staff, maybe it's due to cultural differences. Nevertheless they did answer to our questions and requests. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so we can't say much about that either."
