This refurbished mid-1800s hotel is right by Eksjö’s main square, Stora Torget. It provides a large breakfast buffet, bicycles for hire and free WiFi. Eksjö Station is 5 minutes’ walk away. Eksjö Stadshotell’s original features include high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. All rooms feature a minibar, tea/coffee facilities and a 32-inch flat-screen TV with cable channels. "I am very picky about coffee, and that was not the best, but otherwise breakfast was very nice."
"I did not like the fact that I was not asked for the key to the room when I checked out. I should have remembered as well, of course, but I didn't, and so had to turn around about an hour into our trip home... Don't forget to leave your key!"

"Frukosten var lite tråkig, vi saknade det där ”lilla extra” som sätter guldkant på en hotellfrukost. Avloppen är förmodligen gamla för det svämmade över vatten på hela badrumsgolvet när vi tömde ut badvattnet."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."

"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
