Situated in a park area by Lake Gimodamm, Gimo Herrgård is situated in an 18th century manor. It offers WiFi access, individually decorated rooms with antique furnishings and a seaside cabin with spa facilities, hot tubs and a bar. All rooms at Gimo Herrgård have cable TV and private bathrooms with shower or hot tub. Some rooms have a sauna. Rooms are located in six different buildings. The main building features reception, restaurant and lounges. Traditional Swedish dishes are available in Herrgårdsrestauranten, which is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs gastronomic society. "Historical mill area, a beach 500m away."
"No air condition, long distances between sleeping quarters and main building where restaurant is. The ”bath house” by the lake is not worth the cost, it is old, does not offer much anything unless it is cold outside and you need a sauna, the food and drink offerings are nearly nonexistant. ”Beer and peanuts”, that is. The service personnel at the restaurant seemed quite untrained and had communication problems."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."

"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
