"Quite a central location so easy to walk to many sites, a self contained apartment that had everything you needed. Clean and there is access to a washing machine. Supermarket is nearby and an easy walk to a restaurant strip by the palm garden."
"We were told to not walk on the streets at night as it was dangerous, looked like lots of drug gangs - but there is a so called police station next door. So best to call a taxi to be on the safe side and the apartment is gated. The place was in need of new window handles as people could climb in, the owner sorted this all out speedily the next day and fixed a faulty light (he actually lives upstairs). There are mossies in the apartment but a mossie coil sorted that all out easily."

"Water is safe to drink. Hot showers. Comfortable bed. Everything worked. Loved being downtown in walking distance to all important things to see."
"Due to flight delays we arrived at 2AM on a Sunday morning. Host was out of town so there was a lack of communication on his part. Sunday everything is closed. Best to arrive during the week. A sofa would be nice. Maybe a hot plate for folks who stay longer than a couple of days."
"The apartments are adjacent to a clothing store, I got an email in advance telling me that I could collect the keys there. The store clerk was very friendly and cordial. She instructed us that we could come to them for all our questions. The apartment was fully airconditioned with two bedrooms with queen beds, a fridge, stove, microwave, and a washer (including soap and detergent). The beds were comfortable. We stayed for a week and there was a mid-week cleaning. The apartments are very safe as you need a key to access the property. It is situated right next to a police station. Private parking is available, which is handy in the city center. The apartments are within walking distance from the main attractions the city center, the central market, Waterkant, and the pubs near Palmentuin."
"The only recommendation is maybe adding mosquito nets to the windows. Now we couldn't open the windows and enjoy the nice breeze."
