"Breakfast was good. Location very convenient (by car) for El Jem Ampitheatre and Museum. Secure parking. Spacious and comfortable rooms. We were there out of season so it was very quiet. Light meals available in the evening."

"For a new hotel there was NO lift, if this is important to you. Breakfast was basic but sufficed. WI FI kept dropping out. As there are only two hotels in El Jem, this one is about a 41-minute walk out of the town. Basically, in the middle of nowhere. You need to get reception to call you a taxi and it is about a 15-minute wait. However, it served it's purpose. Hotel Julius is right next to the train station and the amphitheatre."

"Dar Ammar is located just outside the highway exit to El Djem, where the traffic is not crazy. I was on a road trip, so it worked well for me. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Cute welcome lemonade drink at check-in. Decent dinner."
