"Great hotel! The room was very clean and spacious and had a fan. We had a very delicious dinner, the cooker was amazing. The staff was very helpfull, we could leave out bags during the day after the checkout."

"I had a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Hotel. The price is very affordable, making it great value for money. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, especially considering the price. The location is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. While there’s no gym, the overall experience and hospitality more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and conveniently located place to stay in Zanzibar!"

"Very good little resort with a small pool to dip in. Very nice and warm boss and staff, all ready to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Even upgraded the breakfast for me. The sweet breakfast was just delicious! Also offer some simple lunch and dinner when you are lazy to go out. Walking distance to the beach, small shopping area and the Kuza Cave."

"We had an amazing stay at Chameleon Blue Lodge on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. The location is truly special, surrounded by nature and wildlife, which creates a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. We always felt very safe and welcomed. What makes this place unique is the strong sense of community—you’re not isolated like in many resorts, but genuinely connected with the staff and local culture. The food was excellent, always fresh, with delicious fish, vegetables, and fruit. It’s the perfect place to relax, reconnect with nature, and experience Zanzibar in a more meaningful way. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We highly recommend this lodge and would definitely come back!"

"A friend recommended this place, and it was everything I needed and then some. I booked one night but ended up staying longer. This is a traditional bed and breakfast so I got to share the property with a few other travelers, Witness the property manager and Neema the housekeeping. The homely vibes made my stay even better after a few weeks on the road."
