"Very comfortable and clean apartment. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The building is located right in front of the bus terminal which makes it busy, but we were able to park our car right in front and as the apartment is all the way on top, you have a good view of the city."

"Spacious and spotless apartment. 2 separate bedrooms, 3 washrooms, large common area and separate kitchen. Reception lady and the guards are very pleasant!"

"Really good location to explore main attractions, only a 5min walk to the Slavery Exhibition, Jaws Corner and Darajani Market. The hotel is characterful, with traditional courtyard and windows. The rooms were clean and cool, with tea and coffee available and good hot shower which can be hard to find in Stonetown. Breakfast was simple and fresh."

"Beautiful and spacious accommodation. It was just a stone throw away from the sea. Though not in the beach front, its just a minute walk to there. Food was okay. They really put in an effort to make you feel at home. Every room has its own private patio so it's possible to not even meet other guests."

"10/10! Amazing house, a piece of paradise. Right on the beach, quiet, but not that far from lovely Paje, it was perfect! The sunrise from the bed and the breakfast on the rooftop are forever on my mind. Super convenient for a large group, we had the best family holidays. We didn’t have to do anything, the amazing staff was cooking breakfast and cleaning every day, and they were super responsive if we needed anything. They also cooked for us some amazing seafood barbecues as an extra for dinner, and helped us book drivers for our day trips and activities. We had couple of time the power going off and they have generator for essentials (such as fan, wifi, lights etc.) Hot water and good water pressure, good wifi and even outside near the pool. We will definitely be back"

"Our host, Moussa, is the single most lovely person I've met thus far in Zanzibar. If you're looking for an authentic, non-touristy, excursion, staying at Mama's house is a must. We were greeted with warmth and joy and were made to feel extremely comfortable. The food was great and Moussa even took time out of his day to sit and chat with us. An absolute gem of a place, you won't be disappointed."
