Spotless comfortable rooms retaining original features blended with modern comforts. Good bed, good linen, good bathroom. Lovely, welcoming, staff.
Fine breakfast in the house and a good outdoor restaurant (but do check availability, especially when not staying at the weekend) in a garden setting with an African safari lodge feel.
Room 6 is the best, at the top and at the front. I had this room this latest time but normally have room 2, which is smaller and at the back but very comfortable especially for the solo guest. This isn't really a place for families, but perfect for couples and the single traveller. I have stayed very many times in Atlántida, and at many places, and this will always be my first choice."

"One of the very best Hostel I ve been to. Cozy and very clean, great position in a good neighborhood. Montevideo is a walkable city so from there you can go anywhere.
10 stars to the staff too, extremely friendly, ready to help and give advices.
