"Lovely room with great views from the terrace. Excellent breakfast and helpful and knowledgeable host. Friendly staff and a bonus visit from Tom and Jerry, the local loeries! The communal kitchen/lounge area was useful and well equipped. The luggage funicular was extremely welcome."

"Room at the top that I stayed in was clean and functional and has the best views I've had in a room anywhere on garden route so you tend to overlook the problems. Toilet makes horrendous sound when flushing and it's very tired and in need of a mini makeover. But I would stay in it again as is anytime but due for some TLC"

"We really enjoyed the views from the tops, right from the room and at the breakfast area. Tom, the manager was such a helpful guide and a friendly face, ready to help with anything. The breakfast each morning of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable with cute guides on what to do and see in the area."

"Beautiful little establishment in a very central location. Sam, Lorraine & Tom are the best, most gracious hosts. Wonderful views, due to it's being high up on the hill yet still walking distance to the village, restaurants, etc. Also because it's high up, there are many, many stairs (like three to four long flights) so do be mindful of this. I highly recommend TheTops."
