"I paid $164 for a room expecting comfort, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Most of the staff did not speak English, which is surprising for a hotel located in a tourist area—there should be staff available who can communicate with international guests. The room I received was significantly different from what I booked online: it was much smaller, and the bathroom was extremely cramped for the price. The air conditioner was barely functional, just blowing air without cooling. When I complained at the front desk, the only staff member who spoke a bit of English explained that the hotel was undergoing renovations and apologized that the AC wasn't working properly. Also, the property was labeled “Ancor,” not Ibis Hotel, as advertised. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be staying here again."
