During our time we enjoyed delicious meals with the community and had beautiful conversations together, we also welcomed the opportunity to have a camp fire next to the beach. Beside the accommodation we booked a cacao workshop and cacao farm visit, which connected us with the land and surroundings even more."

The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

The way to get there is very adventurous. I arrived in the dark and I wasn't really sure I am at the right place because of the road. Quite scary.

"I just loved the concept of tipi in the forest. Very clean camping area, big forest surrounding the campground, lots of birds and of course the lovely semois by my feet. It’s also a family camping so as a solo traveler you feel pretty safe."

The “insolite” part, you aren’t quite insolite, other tipis were in use by families with children running around and shouting. This was a bit tiring since I hoped to be in a calmer area. But you manage, I was out hiking the whole day and at night I set up my bbq while the kids slept. Only early mornings were hard - at the same time the birds were as loud as the kids 😂

"We stayed with our two kids and my husband - the kids were very happy to play with the cats in the garden. We had the opportunity to experience both the glamping tent and the room. Everything was clean and well organized. It’s a wonderful place with a true sense of nature and freedom, and the host was very kind and welcoming."
