"The house was fantastic! Clean and warm, with a stunning view from the window. The host was incredibly kind; when our car got stuck, they braved a blizzard to pick us up—it was so touching! I'll definitely stay longer next time I'm in Iceland."

Only issue was the bathroom sink not draining properly/quickly but it didn’t cause us any problems more just something to be careful of overflowing.

"Beautiful home and furnishings. We found everything we needed and the spa and outdoor shower were just what we needed after our long travel days."

Outdoor shower was a challenge in the wind and rain but we can’t complain. It’s very beautiful.

It was perfect for the one night stay I needed and I couldn't have asked for more. It was much cheaper than other places and I would use this place again.

We had experienced some problems with internet connection. Two beds in the bedroom little bit small, more suitable for the children

"We spent a wonderful weekend in a cottage. The house has everything you need for a kitchen and barbecue. Comfortable check-in. Comfortable beds and enough space for a small group. We were lucky with the weather and spent time not only in the house but also outdoors and swimming in the hot pool. We even caught the northern lights at night. The place is located near Reykjavik, and for a weekend getaway in a country house, it's perfect. We recommend it."

"This place is something special. It allows you to feel the real vibe of the outbacks. Amazing to spot northern lights during winter, the idea of creating a dedicated little shop, provided by the owners, is something important considering that the first town (Hella, which is really small) is about 20 minutes driving away. The accommodation is cozy, welcoming, well kept and organized. It’s clear that Greta and Steinar put their own inside this project, with a enthusiasm and passion. Their horse ranch is right beside the cottages and they are cool in let you take a look of their work, by asking them in advance. Washing machine and dishwasher were really appreciated. We definitely enjoyed our time there!"

Maybe a little wardrobe would be recommended as well as a splitted hob (now there’s only one fire).
