Hotel Esplanad is 200 metres from Mariehamn’s main street, Torggatan. It offers simple yet comfortable rooms with cable TV and free parking. Mariehamn Harbour and Ferry Terminal is 10 minutes’ walk away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. All of Hotel Esplanad’s guest rooms include a private bathroom with shower. Esplanad’s guests enjoy free morning access to the sauna and outdoor pool at Hotel Cikada, located 700 metres away. The surrounding streets have plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The sandy Lilla Holmen Beach is about 5 minutes’ walk away.

"Very cosy hotel! It offered us a stay very late in the night (around 4am) with no problems. Very convenient if you travel by ferry to Mariehamn."

"We liked the cozy rooms, we loved all the details made with love and how clean and beautiful it was. We also liked how warm the staff is, very attentive and friendly. The bed was also comfortable, we booked for the double bed room and it was beautiful and huge. The common room is also huge, with a tv, books and board games. It was our first time at this hostel, just one night, but after this experience in this beautiful island, we will book more days next time (i hope sooner than later) See you soon!! 😍"

"If you are looking for peace, scroll no further, you have found it here! We stayed in an apartment close to the water, we felt close to nature and a true sense of tranquility. The apartment sticks to the traditional wooden design with traditional Finnish textiles on the walls, floors, and table - resulting in a space that feels cosy and warm, no matter the weather outside :) We felt true hospitality from Pasi and Anneli. We will be back in the summer without a doubt."
