"Probably a cat was sitting on the bench in the kitchen some time before we checked in – quite a lot of hair. Not a problem for us but make sure to tell the owner when you're allergic."

"No oil in the kitchen, blinds in the bed room not great so lots of lights was coming trough. Hot water must be very rich in sulphurs, my jewellery stained after shower and it never happened before around Iceland (better to remove them)."

"We had an awesome stay at this Central Pearl Apartment. The hosts were super nice. We are two girls staying for 7 nights, Omar was super helpful and showed us the nearest supermarket and gave us a lift back from there on the first day:) We felt really welcomed which made our Iceland trip even better! The place is very central, 5 mins to the landmark church, 3 mins walk to the center of the city center! It has every facility you need too if you want to save money on dinning out in Iceland! Highly recommend! I have been to many luxury hotels but this stay made me feel I might change my travel accommodation choices in the future!"

The beds were very comfortable and the living room has the most amazing view to the outside, perfect for seeing the northern lights (which we saw and they were beautiful). Having a complete laundry space was also very helpful and the hosts provided everything we needed for a nice stay. The host's dog became our friend since we arrived and it was lovely."

"The road to Tálknafjörður is absolutely stunning. We drove all around Iceland, but for us, nothing beats the road from Búðardalur to Tálknafjörður. Tálknafjörður is very tranquil, small and relaxed. The guesthouse is relaxed, spacious, well maintained (our host was even repainting it as we were there). He is a very polite, calm man, happy to give some tips for the area. I believe there is a beautiful 10km hike near the house, but with the heavy snow, we decided against it. Absolutely worth the stay!"
