"The property is amazing, located in the quiet town of Grindavík. There’s restaurants which served the most delicious fish, the cod is unreal! The place is beautiful, first floor is a bedroom with 2 singles and a nice size bathroom. The second floor is a double with a toilet and the 3rd floor is the family/living/kitchen area which has amazing views. Saying that all floors have amazing views! This property is cool and is located well if you really want to SEE Iceland! 15 minutes from the Blue Lagoon!"

"Will be great when the town reopens. Of course it’s understandable that this isn’t the case right now. Would suggest shopping in Keflavík or Selfoss depending on which way you travel before arriving but even if you don’t Keflavík is only 30 minutes away."

"This is only a timing issue but because we stayed there not long after the roads were reopened after the most recent lava flow, Grindavík was like a ghost town because so many are still unable to come back to their houses. Nothing was open, and we had to go into Keflavik to even get food. This would have been good to know beforehand so we could’ve picked something up before checking in. Luckily we had a car but if we’d gotten a taxi, we would have to get another one just to get food. Once the town is reopen fully, this would be the most amazing place we stayed on a month in Scandinavia and Iceland"

"We had a great stay overall. The third floor (kitchen and living room) is spacious, cozy, and offers stunning panoramic views. We even saw the Aurora from there, which was a highlight. However, the downstairs area felt a bit small, especially for storing our six large pieces of luggage. The narrow, steep stairs made it difficult to carry them up to the bedrooms, so we had to leave everything downstairs. The property has two bedrooms—one downstairs and one on the second floor—and two toilets (one downstairs and one in the upstairs bedroom), which was convenient for our group. All the rooms are clean. The host was fantastic—responsive, and very supportive. The location is ideal, with easy access to the Blue Lagoon. Papa's restaurant, highly recommended by the host, was excellent; we loved the cod and pizza."
