"The host was very welcoming and friendly. We got the chance to see a quick glimpse of the Aurora before it got cloudy. We were able to see the horses in the morning which was super great."

"An absolutely beautiful place to stay. The view from the windows is exceptional, the farm quiet, the premises very clean and equipped in anything you may need. The host went out of her way to accommodate me even though it was not the best time for her, her super nice grandson came especially to show me around the house. I can't wait to return there when I visit again. I especially loved seeing the horses around. Great value for money."

"A wonderful little gem with a view to the fjord. Friendly host. Very comfortable bed. The room is large, the windows big, there is a separate kitchen. Good value for money."

"If I can make one suggestion: in a place where the days are 24 hours long in summer, hang some dense curtains. There were none, and the sun comes up at 4 am and shines in through the window."

"Absolutely exceptional place. The views were to die for from our room (room 6). The staff are so friendly and helpful. They went out there way to set the room up to propose to my now finance.breakfast was lovely, always delivered to room on time. Would highly recommend. Would go back in a heartbeat. "Andres was very helpful and proactively provided us with information for our sightseeing. The guesthouse is perfect for aurora chasing. Unfortunately, the weather was bad on the day we arrived, and it snowed heavily all night, so we couldn't see the Northern Lights - what a pity."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the things we needed, there was a good selection of pots and pans for cooking and the beds and bedding were comfortable. There was a washing machine and dryer available in a laundry room which was really handy. The location was great, perfect for trips to Husavik, Akureyri and Myvatn and the swimming baths down the road are excellent and there were lovely views from the apartment. If you need to be back to Akureyri for the airport I would recommend keeping an eye on the weather if you're there like we were in winter, I noticed snow gates on the road so if the weather is bad they must close it, it does go over a substantial set of hills. No problems when we visited though."
