"The owner waited for us until late and welcomed us very kindly, together with Katla, the sweetest dog and the property’s mascot. The apartment is perfect for three people: the bed is comfortable, and both the bathroom and the kitchen are very cozy and well equipped. The morning view is absolutely incredible. We also had a small issue with the sink, and the owners came immediately to help us."

"Very nice location about 15min drive from the nearby town. The apartment was very clean, and the host was kind. It was a bit small for three of us, but for a couple this would be perfect."

"Spacious, cozy room. Very friendly owner and even friendlier dog :) Well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds. Great views from the window and some nice places to take a walk in the vicinity. Parking just next to the building."

"The owner was very attentive. As we were arriving late, she offered us the opportunity to cancel the reservation without any cost. She answered quickly each time we needed anything. The room was very clean and all worked properly."

"This is located at a farm outside Egilsstadir (10 min drive) with no one around you. One will enjoy quiet stay. Suits family of 3 with parking next to the cottage."

"Schöne Wohnung im Erdgeschoss, kleine Küche, Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, kleines Bad, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Alles sauber und gemütlich. Check in mit Schlüsselbox. Der Vermieter wohnt darüber und ist immer ansprechbar, falls nötig. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fjord, leider war es zu kalt und regnerisch.... Patreksfjördur ist ein süßer kleiner Ort, gute Basis, die Westfjorde zu erkunden. Tolles Schwimmbad!! Danke für alles, ich habe mich hier wohl gefühlt."

"Location was handy to Dettifoss and the included breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were in the hosts house and although small were very comfy and clean. There was only one bathroom for two hosts and four guests. This wasn’t an issue over our two day stay. Had our own space of an evening overlooking the mountains, fields and ponds. The hosts were very respectful of our space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The eastern side gravel road to Dettifoss and further north was ok to drive in our rented Kia Sportage."
