Hotel Consuelo

"Excellent breakfast and dinner (amazing tuna steaks!), clean and modern room, friendly staff. Our terrier was welcome for a very reasonable supplement. Free parking very close by. Lovely surroundings, much greener than what we expected. A very pleasant and hassle free stay."

"Rennovatwd bathroom, 24 hour reception desk"

"I was quite disappointed with both the room and the overall state of the hotel. Although advertised as a 4-star property, it feels like time has stood still since the 1990s, with much of the old furniture still in place — and unfortunately, it looks exactly that way. We booked a double room, which turned out to be quite small and dated. The only part that seemed recently renovated was the bathroom, which was modern and pleasant. The walls, however, felt very thin — every morning I was woken up by noise from people walking in the hallway. I asked to change to a room with a better view, but the hotel was fully booked, and unfortunately no alternative or compensation was offered. Breakfast was included and acceptable, but nothing memorable and was only avaiable from 7.30-9.30. Overall, I cannot agree with the 4-star rating; I would rate it closer to 2.5 stars. For the price, it does not offer good value, as there are definitely nicer hotels or apartments in the area."

"Location (bit further from the beach, but still OK and reachable by walking). The room was fine in terms of cleanness and the basic facilities (bathroom, bed), however it lacked some of the essential equipment and things needed especially for the beach vacation such as a place to put your luggage on (no chair, no table etc.), hangers for towels (just a small one in the bathroom), there was basically nothing accept for a smaller closet. We were also disappointed that a beach place was not included as well as a parking place (which we solved very quickly as there was a free space in the public area just opposite the hotel’s entrance). The beach was not covered in the type of reservation we had (for smaller - and I guess less equipped but also less expensive - rooms on the 4th floor) so pay attention if you count on going to the beach)."
