"The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"We stayed here for one week, and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was honestly amazing. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it feels very peaceful. We also rented a car, and the drive to Apia wasn’t too far, so it was very convenient. Overall, everything was perfect. We had an amazing time, and we definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Samoa. Highly recommended! "If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

エアコンが料金制。住宅地なので夜の一人歩きは怖いかも。バレッタからバスで20分前後。

"In general, we liked the experience. Especially because the sea and the beach are so close. The staff is nice and collaborative. The place is simple but fine for that price."

It's a very good location. However, due to the fracture of the former vacation place now obviously shared by different owners, the surrounding area has a bit sad appearance. The canteen on the territory does not provide quality food but there are many restaurants to choose nearby.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"The people were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a free lift into town and back and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful next to the water with a lovely log cabin. I'd definitely stay again, especially in summer as it's a great alternative to Ciudad del Este."

It can be a bit cold if the weather isn't good.
